I have tried to install the Office on Windows 10 Home but unable to complete it. I have microsoft office 2016 mega 32 bits free download the thread on this same issue and have tried everything suggested there but to no avail.

I had a working office on this same machine previously but due to some reasons I had to recover my windows to it’s factory defaults. After that I am unable to install the office at all. Any help guys, i am attaching the screenshot of the error. Setup Log File. After tracking with procmon I verified the XML file used for this command was actually being created. This is the path the scheduled task would actually live at so I opened Task Scheduler and drilled down through the path.

Since this path was empty, I deleted the Office folder entirely from Task Scheduler and re-ran setup again. This time it finished successfully! I don’t know why the simple fact that the Office folder existed within Task Scheduler prevented this from running but its removal fixed my issue.

I makes sense because I just reset my system, and I don’t have any Office programs installed. I’ve read many threads and deleting “Office” folder in Task Ofice is a silver bullet in many cases, but not in mine. I don’t have any experience with reading log files. I tried a dozen times, I download asphalt 9 for windows 10 that issue and followed those steps: Try to download the new setup files, both 32 and bit.

Didn’t work. Delete “Office” folder in Task Scheduler, and in Registry, restart system, and try to install again. Rename “Microsoft Help” folder which microspft empty. Tried to run the setup file As Administrator. Re-reset my Windows again keep my personal files. Check my hard-drive for bad sectors. There’s none. Turn off Windows Defender.

Check for Windows Update to see if there’s any update installation in queue. There’s none, all are up-to-date. Please help me to solve this problem.
